Bird Feeder

The Cone Feeder String is a decorative and refreshing alternative to the traditional feeding table for garden birds.

The Cone Feeder String consists of two conical frosted glass weights linked with a soft black rubber cord.

The cord has hard plastic tips, making it easy to thread balls or other foods, such as apples, onto the cord. The Cone Feeder String can be wound around the branches of bushes and trees or hung from fences and posts. The materials are weatherproof.

The Cone Feeder String was awarded the Formland Prize in August 2002.

Hanging Lights
Now there's another way to enjoy real candlelight in the garden, with Pernille Vea's new Hanging Lantern.

This unusual tea-light lantern forms a living ornament in light for the garden bushes and trees, and can be hung outdoors all year round. The Hanging Lantern was designed with the changeable weather in mind. A small storm lid screens it against gusts of wind, and prevents snow and rain from putting out the flame. Both the storm lid and the bottom of the glass are equipped with a precisely proportioned hole that permits the correct amount of air to enter. As a result, the Hanging Lantern's flame burns peacefully for a long time.

The glass has been frosted using a special technique that transforms the surface into a microscopic mountain landscape of crystals. This reflects the flame, giving the glass an almost opal-like light reminiscent of Japanese paper lanterns. Light these small swaying lanterns in the dark whenever you want the garden to look really enchanting. You can use them on a warm and starry summer night, or when the autumn comes, or on a frosty winter night as the snowflakes silently fall.
